Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.

Appointment Cancellation

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients, please call our reception staff as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 business hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact the practice directly between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message, we will return your call as soon as possible. You may also email the practice to advise of any cancellation or to reschedule an appointment, emails or phone calls received outside of business hours will not be considered as notice until the start of the next business day.

Late Cancellations/No-Shows

Certain bookings require a non-refundable deposit, if your appointment is attended this deposit will go towards treatment costs, however if your appointment is not attended or cancelled at short notice, your deposit will be held as a fee to cover practice losses and is not claimable through your Health Fund, nor will it be used towards future treatment costs.

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 business hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, where no deposit is held, we may charge the patient a $100.00 missed appointment fee. This fee needs to be paid prior to booking your next appointment

Late arrivals

Your appointments and well-being are very important to us, we apologise for any delays caused by patients with unexpected complex or multiple problems. Our practitioners try their best to adhere to the appointment schedule, however, when booking we cannot always foresee which patient will need more time than average.

To minimise interruption to the appointment schedule, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointments. New patients are asked to arrive prior to their scheduled appointment with enough time to complete their patient registration. This allows practitioners to maximise your treatment time without impact other patients. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, your practitioner may ask you to reschedule to a mutually convenient time.
