Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.

Appointment Cancellation

Please call reception as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment. If cancellation is necessary, you must call at least 24 business hours in advance.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact reception directly between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message, reception will return your call as soon as possible. You may also email reception to advise of any cancellation or to reschedule an appointment. E-mails or phone calls received outside of business hours will not be considered as notice until the start of the next business day.

Late Cancellations/No-Shows

Certain bookings require a non-refundable deposit. If your appointment is attended this deposit will go towards treatment costs.  However if your appointment is not attended or cancelled at short notice, your deposit will be held as a fee to cover the treating endodontist’s practice losses and is not claimable through your Health Fund, nor will it be used towards future treatment costs.

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 business hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, where no deposit is held, the treating endodontist may charge the patient a $100.00 missed appointment fee. This fee needs to be paid prior to booking your next appointment and may be subject to the outstanding accounts processes.

Late arrivals

The treating endodontist tries their best to adhere to their appointment schedule, however, when booking we cannot always foresee which patient will need more time than average.

To minimise interruption to their appointment schedule, you should arrive on time for your appointment. New patients are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to allow enough time to complete their patient registration. This allows the treating endodontist to maximise your treatment time without impacting their other patients. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, the treating endodontist may ask you to reschedule to a mutually convenient time.
